La Cucina

I recently purchased a battery grip to use on my Nikon d90's--I wanted to use the built-in intervalometer function to shoot some timelapse footage of the drilling rig while in Haiti. So, of course I had to try it out..... Here is a quick practice timelapse of Mel and I making dinner together the week before I left (note the pajama pants and tufts of hair sticking up on the back of my head... yes, this is me in real life.....)

La Gonave, Haiti

I just got back from an amazing week on the island of La Gonave in Haiti. I went with a drilling team from Guts Church. I took a lot of stills, but my primary purpose on the trip was to film footage for a short documentary about La Gonave, and the progress made during the last 10 years that Guts has been a part of the outreach on the island. Here are a few of my favorite photos:

VIDEO: San Francisco

Here's a video of our trip to San Francisco. We knew it was going to be a super-fun getaway, but Mel and I also had a Special Purpose for going on this trip: to help our friend John propose to his girlfriend Taylor, i.e., Project Falcon. We were so blessed to be a part of this exciting event in their lives. Congratulations, John and Taylor!

VIDEO: SGD and Jason Derulo at Big Splash

Mel and I recently filmed a short video for the band Stars Go Dim at the Big Splash water park here in Tulsa. Both SGD and Jason Derulo put on great shows. It was a really fun evening...

(then there was this incredible moment during "Whatcha Say" when Jason tore his shirt into shreds... girls were completely freaking out... he tried to pull it from his body, but got it tangled up around his feet... he was trying hard to play it cool, but we thought it was hilarious... unfortunately it didn't make it into the final cut of the video...)

The (soon-to-be) Rotramels

Wow. What a fun engagement shoot! It was really hard to pick which images to post... there were just so many great ones. We'll be shooting Beau and Chrissie's wedding in September-- and it promises to be incredible... and knowing Beau, possibly bizarre.... :)
